One aspect of the pre-Resource Wars that people don't discuss is the blatant racism expressed between China and India long before the war between the United States and China:

With such a large populatuion and positions in Vaults limited, there was a great concern amongst pre-Great War Americans over the issue of protection and survival. To help assuage those fears and anxities, the Civil Defense Administration would produce how-to guides to show families how to build shelters of their own in their own homes with easily available materials.

Countless numbers of these home bomb shelters would be built all across america, with many treated as weekend projects for the entire family. However, many (if not all) of these shelters would prove to be woefully inadequate, leaving many to suffer agonising deaths from Radiation sickness or ghoulification

Tourist photographs of Goodsprings, post 2282

Following the Second Battle of Hoover Damn, the small trading town of Goodspring would slowly but surely begin to develop as a popular tourist hotspot for both traders and travelers to New Vegas and the Mojave, with many wanting to see the town and the preserved shallowed grave of the legendary Courier Six who was so intrumental in the events surrounding that battle.
